Photostory Friday: Bubbles, bubbles everywhere!

Who would have thought how difficult it could be to photograph a few bubbles! Tried all kind of unconventional methods and ended up with these shots. I like them because they capture pure childhood enjoyment!

Sparkle fun

Got the family to play with sparklers in the studio as soon as it got dark enough. Smoked up the whole place, but Joubert had great fun! Thought Emma would also like to join in the fun, but it was just after her bath and she was more interested in her night-time bottle. Got a few fun shots - not perfect yet, but still kind of entertaining to look at!







Children are always so fascinated by anything to do with fire - it was nice to give Joubert a legitimate reason to play with fire!

Saturday's shoot

On Saturday, Bronwen, her husband, two kids and Bronwen's dad came over for a shoot. The little ones were very serious and not very generous with their smiles, but still a pleasure to photograph! At least they gave me ample of opportunity to snap away - they did not run around all over the place or scream bloody murder... Here are a few of my favourite shots.

My blog have been at a stand-still for 10 days now. Got up one morning to check my e mails , only to find out that my Internet connection is no more. Went after several wild goose chases just to find out that the modem was faulty. I thought I would lose my mind! I knew I was dependant on the Internet, but did not realise quite how lost I'd be without it, so am very relieved to be back on-line! Pictures today are of Emma having a wonderful time on playground equipment at a friends house.
