Joubert finally had a chance to master his new bicycle during this past weekend on our trip to
Lindani game farm. Off course, he fell down at least a dozen times - the dirt road with soft, sandy spots did not help - but got away without seriously injuring himself! The region is very dry at the moment and therefor the landscape is not very colourful (though still beautiful). I found the boys' red sweaters against the pale landscape quite an interesting contrast.

"My goodness that does look dry"....said Ann, as she tries to venture outside without getting drowned !!! Love those red jackets, your right they contrast beautifully with the sandy road.
I'm with you, the contrast of the red jackets is beautiful.
Ah, falling in the sand. What a difference from falling in gravel when I was a kid. :)
Great jackets! Let you keep on eye on them from a long way off. Very cute shots.
FAB FAB FAB. But I much prefer the panoramic to the landscape. You see a bit more of the windy road.
Great contrast with the red tops.
You can see they've been in the dirt if you look at the smudge on the top.
stunning! I love the composition of the second shot!
I love these shots too karin, that jacket alone just draws the eye in to that road and beautiful scenery! You are so lucky to have that!
BTW, I TOTALLY LOVE that giraffe shot below too. WOWZA.
Oh Karin these are incredible shots! Yes the RED against the weat-colored background is artful! Happy RT! :)

At least I said it.
Beautiful reminder of a simpler life...
