Poor Emma. I had so many errands to run this morning that she could not fall asleep at 12 noon as she normally does. By half past one she was utterly exhausted and actually crawled onto my lap and told me that she was sleepy (I'm sure we'll have storms tonight). I laid her down on my bed and I noticed the light falling in from the window was just perfect. So here it is - sleeping toddler, with hands and feet thrown in to make her mother's heart melt.
Oh yes - I always take my photos in colour and then change them into b&w or sepia afterward, but I'm never happy with the way my b&w pics come out. I read an article a few nights ago by a photographer who said that one should stop shooting only in colour to play it safe and change the setting on the camera for a change. So I did and I must say that I'm quite satisfied with the result.

Such amazing photos!!! wow. I love toddlers sleeping. Need to capture that with my own, I have none of her sleeping... she'd always wake up! :)
Beautiful, love the feet :)
I've never tried taking photos with the B&W setting.
Absolutely enchanting, a really beautiful set of images, and the B&W setting has worked a treat, just perfect.
These are so beautiful. I'm WAY too afraid to take photos while mine is sleeping, he'd wake up in 2.3 nanoseconds and the nap would be OVER! WAH!
kids are most beautiful when at rest, don't you think?
Nou het jy my al weer aan die huil!
