De Mond Nature Reserve

De Mond is a tiny nature reserve on the coast of the Overberg region, halfway between Struisbaai and Arniston. It's a place of awesome beauty with a pristine beach that stretches for miles and miles. I absolutely loved exploring this extraordinary place and listening to the silence walking along the river, until suddenly, one reaches the dunes and starts to hear the roar of the ocean. Definitely another favourite!

I love the effect you got in the first picture. I can't understand how you can say you aren't really good at landscapes, cause they are excellent.

All the shots are great, as usual, but I am particularly drawn to the first one. Has the look of time gone past, antique. Well done. (Previous posts are great too!!)
