I used the other half of this delicious avocado in a salad this afternoon. Emma unfortunately got hold of the remaining half and now I'm sad to say that the beautiful fruit is ruined.
I played around with some presets in Lightroom, but the first two even freaks me out a little, so I'm adding the originals as they are also quite scary (and would be even more so if those were their actual teeth, haha!).
Found this little guy at the Queens Park Zoo in East London when I was visiting my parents earlier this year. He was lounging in the winter sun and couldn't even bother to get up for a closer look like all his friends. I suppose he must be the lazy one of the bunch (either that, or the male chauvinist, LOL!).
Why go outside if you have a perfectly good indoor road? Joubert's play mat with roads for his little cars presented the perfect shot for today's photohunt theme - road.
Hehe, one of these images looks like the real thing while the other does not! The truth is that I'm definitely not brave enough to get this close to the real thing - that would be WILD! Both of these are sculptures I found at the nursery today - the first one is very life-like, wouldn't you agree?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I suppose when you have a camera in hand, almost everything you aim your lens at is beautiful in some way. So it is very difficult to choose an image!
As I make a living out of capturing babies and children, I suppose that to me, they will always be the most beautiful subject. Newborns in particular are very special, and the back of a tiny baby's head will always be exquisite to me.
